A Day at the Fair

Last night we went to the Fall Festival here in Coweta. Corey didn't want to go because yes it is a big waste of money, but I had earned some money working at a gym nearby and offered to use that. The kids were so excited and this was just about the smallest fair I have ever been to. But as long as the kids were excited that is all that matters. We bought a ride for each kid and then let them choose one treat from the concession stands.

Gabe chose the little alligator roller coaster. He thought he was pretty cool stuff and even held his hands up in the air as it went around. I don't think he really got the concept of only one ride because he kept assuming he was going to ride with Logan on his ride as well.

Our lovely concession stand pit stop. The boys wanted ice cream, with all the yummy fried foods available that is all they wanted. Of course Corey and I got a funnel cake to share and the kids even helped a little with that.

I had to laugh at Lexie because she only wanted a pop. So we spend one dollar on a little can of soda. We could have brought her one from the house for free if we had known that is what she wanted. She would choose that over everything else.

I loved this picture because she is just looking up at Corey so sweetly and Corey is holding her hand. He loves his little girl and is glad we are having another one. She wanted to ride the horses and guess what, she chose to ride on the bench. She must of gotten some weird mutant gene.

Here they are waiting to get onto Lexie' ride. She is so much calmer than the boys who were constantly moving round. They make me dizzy sometimes trying to keep up with them.

Logan really wanted to ride on the Farris wheel, so we waited in this huge line only to be shot down by the cigarette smoking hippy running the ride. Apparently you have to have at least two people to get on, which was not on a sign anywhere. Logan was pretty upset about that, but decided on the motorcycle that made way too much noise for my liking. But at least it got his mind off of the Farris wheel.

We had a really great time and Corey told them maybe next year when we go to a fair he will have enough money for two rides, I told him we just need to drive four hours to Dallas to Six Flags and pay the entrance price for them to ride all they want. So maybe next summer we will plan a little trip down.

very cute! I love how little kids can be so simple. I don't know what it is about Dr Pepper, but my kids can't handle it, they get too wild. Maybe its the 23 flavors lol.
