On Saturday my mom was still out in Utah visiting my brothers and sister. So since it will be my dad's birthday on Monday, I decided to take him out on a date with me. It started out with our usual trip grocery shopping. I always go with my parents on Saturday by myself. Gives me some time alone. But after we went grocery shopping I took dad out to Wendy's for lunch. Yes I know nothing fancy, but since we are both watching what we eat Wendy's has the best selection for low calories. Then I took him to see a movie. It was great to spend some one on one time with my dad. It is so great to live close to my parents and be around them all the time. I love it!!

What a cute picture! I look forward to living close to my family too. Although I am really nervous about actually moving back in with them for an extended period of time. You'll have to give me advice.
