I know everyone is just dying to know what we do on the weekends..well here it is. Corey had a golf tournament this weekend and on his way home he sees the boys. He comes in and tells me he needs the camera. I had no idea that the boys decided they were going to have a mud fight. It rained that morning so it was pretty mucky outside. Of course they were right in the middle of it. I am so grateful for the hose that saved me from having to clean that mess up by hand.
I was in the living room and I hear Travis in with Lexie playing kitchen with her. I never play the pretend games just because I feel so idiotic doing it. But Travis dove right in and was the entertainer of the evening. He had the barbies headbanging and serving each other great meals at the kitchen. I really enjoy this just for the fact that the kids are kept busy and they don't follow me around all evening.

Ice Cream...So Good
OK, so growing up we ate ice cream on occasion, but it wasn't an everyday thing. I think because my mom really only bought vanilla in the huge bucket. The one flavor that I don't really care for unless you add some brownie to it. But since I have been married to Corey ice cream has become one of my favorite things. Corey has always eaten it in a glass with milk mixed in. It makes it more like a milkshake and boy do I love a nice cup of ice cream at night. Since I have become pregnant I have let go of some of my inhibitions and eaten more ice cream than I normally do. Yes I know this will equal more weight to lose afterwards, but there is something so wonderful about consuming this cold treat after a hard day with the kids. I have tried a lot of ice cream (aww the days of Blue Bell Days) and my favorite two are mint chocolate chip and the all time best the Blue Bell chocolate chip cookie dough. Can you say yum. All those cookie dough chunks are just what I would order in my ice cream. Although I will say Cold Stone tops my list, but who can afford a five dollar a serving treat when you can get a whole half gallon for that price. I call this my ode to ice cream.

Gabe and Soccer
I went to Gabe's practice last night and took some video. I had no idea that he would score a goal, but the reaction when he did was so funny. He is such a class clown and I can only imgine what the teachers think of him at school. I haven't gotten a bad note yet though, so I figure he inches his way into their hearts just like he does mine. But check out this soccer video.

Quick update
So I have no pictures to go with this post either. I guess you can attribute it to my laziness lately. But hopefully I will get the urge to take pictures tomorrow at Gabe's soccer practice. Today I met with some friends to eat lunch to celebrate my birthday this past week. We had Mexican and I ate so much I am still not hungry nine hours later. In fact, I still feel a little sick from it. I think I might need to give Mexican a rest for a little bit. But thanks for my friends who came and celebrated with me. We had a great time just chatting and laughing. We should do that more often then on birthdays.
My brother in law Travis is living with us for a month until he can get into an apartment and move his family down. They are set to move on September 18th and I am so excited to have my beloved sister in law so close. I have a hard time in general "clicking" with others and from the first time I met her we got along great. We lived by each other in Rexburg and we did everything together. I am so excited to have her close and spend some time with her.
Corey had to switch his testing job from Wednesday night to Tuesday night so that he could take a class at NSU on Wednesday nights this semester. He is so determined to finish his Masters and I am so proud of him for keeping with it. Even if we hardly see him during the week. I am hoping it will make everything worth while in the end. I have to give props to the medical students wives (which I know a few) who basically are single moms for a long time. I have renewed respect for you guys.

12 week doctor visit
Well I had my monthly visit today and all is going just great. Everything is normal and I got an in office ultrasound and everything looked great. I saw our little Lima bean and the heart was just beating away. Something that I always look forward to, to give me a little reassurance. I will say that anyone who can have a baby while qualifying for state insurance should take advantage while you can. This is our fist paid for baby, and I had no idea how much all of this was going to cost. We are prepared thank goodness, but man are we glad our other three were cheap in comparison. So all you young couples who are poor, get busy!!!
Birthdays and A mess
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABBER!!
Well my little Gabber turned five today. He is just getting so big. We got him a golf club set with golf bag and some Spongebob golf balls. He loves them and Dad is taking him golfing tomorrow morning to test it out. It is amazing to see how much he has grown over the years. From the moment he was born he has had such a tight grip on mom's heart. Even then he had a deep cry which just carried over to his deep voice. Which at five is really an accomplishment. He is ever so willing to help me and never complains when I ask him to do something for me. He hates being teased and when you do he will give you the cold shoulder for a little while. And those curls!!! How can you resist something as cute as that. Well which is why I usually can't.
As a side note, I had made brownie's and I had to talk on the phone with Corey so I left the bowl unattended on the counter. Not even thinking about it till I get off the phone and come out into the kitchen. There is Lexie standing on a little chair with brownie mix all over her. She just smiles and says I am eating brownie's. Like that is how we usually do it. Although she might have witnessed me taking my occasional lick of batter so who can blame the girl. I was so proud that I didn't get mad, I just thought it was cute and took a picture. Must be all the pregnancy hormones in my system.

Breaking Dawn and Hershey Kisses
So I am a huge Twilight fan. I have been waiting for this fourth book is seems forever. I even reread the first three to be fresh for the fourth. I read it in just two days and although I liked it, it wasn't what I was expecting. It sounds like this might be the last in the serious about Bella and Edward anyways, but I am hoping that she goes farther with a couple of other characters which I won't mention in case someone hasn't finished yet. I am sad that I am done so I went and bought her other novel called The Host.....
I am not one for sci-fi, but she is such a great writer I am guessing it will be good anyways. So I just started this today. I was reading on her website she plans another book called Midnight Sun, which is Edwards account of Twilight, so at least I have that to look forward to. It sounds very intriguing.
Ok so I went to Texas this weekend for my new nephews blessing and I had the runs the whole weekend. Since I am pregnant I thought it might be something with my messed up digestive system, but today when we were at a birthday party little Gabe kept running to the bathroom with the runs. And boy did he run. He has been running to the bathroom all day long. I keep pumping fluid down him, I just hope that it passes quickly. I don't have any pictures of this past weekend, I am blaming it on how horrible I felt which is the truth. So hopefully I will have more pictures to post soon.
