Families are like fudge... mostly sweet with a few nuts
On Saturday night we went way way way out in the country to someone in our Ward to have a picnic. If you live here you know that our ward boundries are huge. It took us about 40 minutes to get to this house from Coweta. But it was so beautiful with a small pond and dogs running around. There were lots of outdoor activities for us and the kids. And of course there was a BBQ on top of that. We had the best time and the kids really loved it.
Lexie was not shy about running around getting into the muck of things. I always had to keep on eye out to make sure that she was ok most of the time. But with lots of friends there it made it easy to enjoy myself. This is Lexie and her good friend Riley. We hang out alot and they just loved this little puppy. They would follow it around everywhere.
Lexie and Gabe also tried at the fishing deal. Daddy was a big help with the wonderful Barbie pole that we had. The only kid to really catch anything was Gabe. It was tiny and we had to of course throw it back. But he was really proud of himself. I didn't get a picture because it took so long and I found myself somewhere else taking pictures.
They had this little juniper jump there and Lexie liked it only if there were no other kids playing. So we finally found a time to be alone and all she did was press her face up against the mesh. But she thought she was big stuff.
Here is Gabe and Logan doing some badmitton. They couldn't really hit the little birdie with the rackets so they were playing with a small beach ball instead.
Today was Logan's Pre-K graduation at school. It was so fun to go to the assembly and see the little program that they had. They sang songs and then of course walked the stage. Logan will be in the class of 2020, which just seems so very far away. It was hard to really pay close attention with Gabe and Lexie, plus there were so many people there I was thinking does anyone work around here!! Logan has loved school and he can't wait to be a big Kindergarten student next year.
If you notice Logan is the little head poking out on the front row. He kept waving and smiling at me the whole time. It was really cute when they threw there little grad hats in the air when it was all down.
Logan was so happy to see that both his brother and sister had come to watch him. I really am proud of him and how well he treats others. He always wants to help and is quick to try and dry his little sisters tears. I was so blessed to get such a wonderful son.
I wanted a picture with Logan and Gabe was the only one there who I could have take the picture. So that is why it was a funny color. He covered the flash with his hand. I tried to lighten it, but it looks almost black and white. But at least this way you can see our faces. By the way, I know that I look rough, but it was pouring rain outside and I got a little wet going there... ;)

Before Grandpa Rollins left for Cancun (yes I think that isn't fair either) he gave both boys a hat. I have bought hats for the boys before, but they never wanted to wear them. But since it was Grandpa who gave them the hats, they wear them all the time. They even wear them to bed. They think they are the best things ever. Oh, and for Grandma and Grandpa Esquibel who bought some magazines for Logan to get his Spongebob T-shirt, this picture is for you also. He loves his Spongebob shirt and wears it whenever it is clean. I have to actually hide it under his other shirts just so he doesn't wear it every other day.
