Don't know what to post

So I know that I haven't posted anything in awhile. I guess that just explains how predictable my life is right now. There is nothing too exciting coming up besides Valentines Day, but around here that turns into just another day as well. Hopefully I will get to take a picture of something that happens within the next couple of days. We are just gearing up for the Super Bowl on Sunday...I really don't have a favorite, I just like the commercials and the snacks. So bring it on!!

Lifting to the Max

Oh boy was I excited yesterday when I was able to max my bench with 45 plates on each side. I am so glad to see my progress and work toward my next goal. This would be to do pull ups without the assistance of the pull up machine. I am at the 20 percent counter weight so I only have two plates left before it is all me. I will have to keep you updated on this, for this is something that I have always wanted to do as well. Now if I can just get that six pack life would be good....;)

On a side note I have to give shouts to my brother Thor who has already lost 28 pounds. Way to go!!

Being a Single Mother

So it has already started for me again this semester. Corey started school this week and has to complete two classes this time. He has warned me that he will not be home a lot and I have come to accept this I think. I pretty much take care of all the kids needs and then I get to see Corey right before I hit the hay. I will be so glad when his MBA is complete. I always have wondered what it would be like to have Corey come home and just be home after work. He won't get his degree till 2011, but I consider it a good investment for the time being. Isn't it April yet?

Lexie plus curls

This past Sunday we moved from 9am to 1pm. It was a hard adjustment for us, although I had more time to try and get Lexie's hair done. She has extremely thin hair and it makes it hard to do anything with. I finally broke out my curling iron and did some curling. I hurried and took some pictures because she rolls and tumbles so much her hair just didn't look the same after about a half hour. So here she is with her cute blonde hair all curled. I just thought she looked so cute!!

P.S. I noticed the small dot right under her nose and realized it was a burger. How gross is that!! But I still think she looks cute.

Being Crafty

This past Saturday we went to my parents house to hang out. Of course Corey was involved with an online game of Halo 3 with my dad, so mom and I decided to get crafty. So we made these so cute recipe boxes. We got the idea from some of mom's magazines and we just put our creative juices to work. I love it, and so now I am busy copying all my recipes to big cards to fit in my box. Martha Stewart better watch out!!

What a nice suprise

So this morning I get home from the gym and I smell something horrible when I come in the door. I asked Lexie if she had pooped and she responds that Gabe had pooped. I go to check on Gabe in the bathroom and when I opened the door I am not quite sure how to describe what was before me. I screamed at first and this in turn woke Corey up and he was at the door in a second. There was Gabe with no pants on and runny poop all over the place. I am not exaggerating when I say this. It looked like a sprinkler was in there expect it wasn't water. It was all over the walls, the toilet and not one inch of the floor or rugs were without. Gabe was crying saying I am so sorry over and over. Come to find out both Gabe and Logan woke up with the flu this morning. So I have been cleaning up non-stop all day long. Hopefully tomorrow will find them more like themselves. I am glad they got the flu shot, imagine what it would have been like if they didn't. But rest assured if you come to my house, I have bleached every corner of my bathroom.....I will never forget that!!

We also went to a Discovery place that was neat. The kids loved this as well. There were so many hands on things. I didn't get pictures, but the kid's favorite part was all the bubble exhibits. It was pretty big and it took us a couple of hours. There was also a light show that they showed in this theater. It was pretty neat, although it gave me a headache and made me dizzy. Go figure the kids would like it.

Jump N Jive

Gabe during jump...what a great shot

While we were visiting at Jereme's house we decided to go to a place called jump and jive. It was this huge in door place with a bunch of blow ups for the kids. We were there for about three hours and the kids didn't want to leave. Adults were free so we just hung out and watched and talked. Lexie was pretty daring on some of the high ones and the boys hardly ever took a break. What a great time.

Happy New Years

For New Years we drove down to Amarillo TX where Corey's brother lives. We thought it would be great to see them and spend the weekend with them. We were graciously invited to someone in their wards house for New Years Eve. This kids had a blast playing with the large group of kids there. We adults just ate and played games. It was fun, but we did go home early before midnight. I was tired, Lexie was tired and it was a bad combination. I hope that everyone else had a great New Years!!
